　　1 〈面會する〉 see； 〈出會う〉 meet； 《米》 meet with； come across （偶然に）

　　あの人には近頃少しも會わない. I have seen nothing of him lately.

　　彼女はあまり人と會わない. She does not see many people. ／ She doesn’t have much company.

　　雨に遭う be caught in a shower； be overtaken by a shower

　　文例

　　途中夕立に遭ってずぶ濡れになってしまった. On the way （there） I was caught in a （sudden） shower and drenched to the skin.
